People with these disease have abnormal immunological response to gluten. In case of coeliac or celiac disease you have to adopt a strict gluten free diet because if you eat it, it can act on linning of small intestine and has harmfull effect on it, due to this the nutrients cannot be absorbed in blood stream which can lead to other diseases like anemia, etc. There are a lot of foods that are naturally gluten free. They include fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, fish, seeds and nuts.
Gluten is neither essential nor detrimental to one's health and quality of life. If you replace gluten containing products with gluten free counterparts you are likely to ingest more carbs and fats means more calories. Sugar and flour are the main reason we get sick and fat. Gluten free junk food are still junk food, loaded with artificial flavours, food colours, added gum to help them stick together and additives to increase shelf life. Gluten free products also contain fats like vegetable oil, trans fats, and hydrogenated oil. Those who limit gluten also limit whole grain which is associated with adverse cardiovascular outcomes.
